UCC(1) qualify for the semis!

Great celebrations were had last week, as it was confirmed that UCC(1) would advance to the semi finals stage of the league competition. The lads were playing away to bottom of the league Forde's bar, and came away with a 3-2 victory. This result and that of the Tory Top losing, settled the league

No game for UCC(2)–Ovens removed from league!

UCC(2) were due to play The Ovens Bar last Monday, however that game was cancelled as the Ovens were removed from the league. Ovens were found guilty of playing an illegal player and thus have been expelled from the league. All points that other teams have earned against Ovens have been cancelled,

UCC(1) suffered a very close home loss to rivals The Rock last Monday. Wins from Mark O'Shea and Jamie O'Driscoll couldn't help as the lads fell to a 3-2 defeat, leaving them in 4th position and less comfortable of securing a position in the semi finals.
Another disappointing result for UCC(2)!

UCC(2) fell to their 3rd defeat in a row this week, putting in a very poor performance away to the Harp(1). The lads fell to a 4-1 defeat, although some of the lads were very unlucky in their individual games. The only win came from débutante Alan Maher.

This certainly was a week filled with mixed emotions, with UCC(1) winning 4-1 and UCC(2) losing 4-1. UCC(1) played away to The Gallows, with wins coming from David O'Connell, Mark O'Shea, TJ Kenneally and Jamie O'Driscoll. A great performance put in from the lads! UCC(2) however had a dismal week,

Another great week was had last week with both teams victorious again. UCC(1) winning 3-2 at home to The Tory Top, and UCC(2) wining 4-1 away to Kirby's Korner. Our in-house league continues tonight @ 7 in the New Bar. All more than welcome!
