UCC 1 on the brink!
UCC 1 head into the final two games of the season, against The Beer Garden 1 and The Friars Walk Tavern, still in the mix for the end of season play-offs. After a crucial 3-2 win last Monday night, away to an in form Tory Top 1 team, they find themselves 3 points off the top 4. A saving grace for UCC 1 could be the fact that many of the teams they are competing against for the top 4 have to play against each other in the remaining fixtures. It has been a meteoric rise through the divisions for UCC since the clubs inception into the Cork Darts Players Association (CDPA) league, this fairytale story might just in fact have a happy ending.
